Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson on Monday, April 2 said she is set to put up a coffee shop business. The name? Well, she said she got the idea from the recent complaint filed against her by Akbayan Youth – Fire Mocha Cafe. Watch her sarcastic comment on her own video below.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa Akbayan Youth dahil binigyan po nila ako ng idea sa magiging pangalan ng aking future coffee shop, ito ang ‘Fire Mocha Cafe.’ Abangan n’yo po ‘yan. Salamat! (I would like to thank Akbayan Youth for giving me an idea on the name of my future coffee shop, ‘Fire Mocha Cafe’. Watch for it!)” Mocha Uson said.
“Sayang kung nalaman ko lang po nang mas maaga nasamahan ko sana sila. Magdala ako ng kape para may energy sila po. Mahilig kasi ako gumawa ng kape. (I wish I learned about it earlier so I can accompany them. I will bring them coffee so they can have energy. I’m really fond of making coffee.)” The 35-year old pro-Duterte blogger wrote.
Uson, who now has more than 5.6 million Facebook followers, is facing administrative complaint for her alleged grave misconduct, serious dishonesty and for spreading fake information. The Akbayan Youth filed the complaint before the Office of the Ombudsman this Monday morning, while carrying protest signs with the text #FireMocha.
“Her willful intent to violate the constitutional rights of the people to information, to peacefully assembly, to freedom of expression, and to redress grievances; all these merit Uson’s removal from office and dismissal from service,” Akbayan Youth said in a statement, noting that those reasons are enough to fire Mocha Uson from office.
According to the group, Uson’s false statement against students of St. Scholastica’s College had led to cyberbullying. It added that the PCOO assistant secretary has been spreading wrong information. As an example, they cited the instance when she said in a video blog last January that Mayon Volcano is located at Naga, instead of Albay.
