Presenting Hand Angels, a volunteer group in Taiwan that offer free hand job to severely disabled people. This first-of-its-kind non-governmental organization (NGO) was founded by Vincent, who suffered from post-polio syndrome, and now depends on a wheelchair. Watch the short documentary video via BBC News Hacks below.

“I’ve had a very difficult life journey. That’s why whenever I see people like me, I feel for them. I see myself in them. That’s why I want to do this.” Vincent said, adding that when he was 8 years old, he had to crawl on the floor until he was able to walk with a walking stick. Now aged 52, Vincent said hestarted to use a wheelchair when he was 45 years old.

“Our most basic service is to help clients, whether they’re male or female, is to masturbate. It’s a complete process – from touching the person to helping them reach orgasm. My sexual desire is exactly the same as people who are not disabled.” He added. So far, Hand Angels have already provided free hand job services to six people.

Vincent, noted some disabled people might still have hands like him but are not anymore able to enjoy their personal satisfaction in sex. Apparently, the BBC News documentary video also interviewed a certain Daan, a male volunteer at Hand Angels, who said the that the process is only 90 minutes but the preparation takes 6 months.

“To my parents I’m always a kid, a kid doesn’t need sex. During the interview, Vincent and I talked a lot, and I also asked a lot of questions. So after the interview, I was reall lookin forward to it.” Mei Nu, who was serviced by Daan, said. For privacy purposes, her face was not seen in the video, and her testomony was done by an English translator.

“If they think I’m a sex worker, I’m fine with that. When I was with him, he cannot barely move his body, so I have to do all the process. Other foundations most of the time are founded by religious groups or parent groups and they would think how to help them get a job, but they don’t think of sex, and that’s what we do.” Anan, a female volunteer, said.
