A former driver of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV told The Philippine Pride that the senator was hoping that someday he would be featured on an international magazine cover.

Arturo Solinap, personal driver of Trillanes for 18 years until his retirement last year, said that the senator – aside from wanting to be a president, was originally wanted to enter the US Navy.

“He wanted to enter US navy, kanya nga lang, dahil nakulong siya, nawala na yong chance.

Trillanes has been accused of “balimbing” by his critics because of his frequent change of sides.
