Trillanes Denied from Attending High School Alumni Homecoming

The Anglican College in Makati City has allegedly denied Senator Antonio Trillanes IV from attending his Class’ 29th Alumni Homecoming, the senator’s high school classmate and one of President Rodrigo Duterte’s appointees said.

On Saturday, Trillanes Class ’87 holds their 29th year reunion and the senator was invited, but the source said the guards refused him to enter inside the school’s premises. The guards said they received a late notice from the class officers ordering them not to let the senator enter the school compound.

The source said Trillanes at first complained, but left several minutes after the guards insisted.

Trillanes allegedly tried to contact their class president but the latter refused to answer his calls.

Victoria Salamanca, the class president and Trillanes’ classmate said during the radio interview that the decision voted by their class and alumni officers. She did not give further details why they came up with such decision.

The senator’s office is closed during weekends, and he is not responding to call made by several reporters to his personal phone.
Trillanes graduated from Anglican College on 1987 and went on to study Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) at De La Salle Taft before entering the PMA.

Weeks before the Elections, the senator was also barred by AFP from entering Camp Aguinaldo to hold press conference.
