Petition to Appoint Bongbong Marcos as DOLE Secretary Launched on

A petition asking the president elect Rodrigo Duterte to appoint Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos as the secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment has been created by his supporters online.

Marcos, during his campaign sorties reiterated that he wanted to fix the labor problems, thus, he wanted to head the labor agency.

The petition says:

Regardless of the result of the vice presidential election, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos should be given the chance to become the secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment.

“I prefer DOLE because one of the biggest problems of our country is unemployment. I see that there’s a lot to be done (in creating more jobs) and there’s no need to craft new laws and policies. We just have to improve the programs,” Bongbong said during his visit to La Union over the weekend.

Bongbong said he wants the government to train and prepare workers to enter private sector because private institutions are 90-percent employer.

Government infrastructures should be helping the ‘small and medium enterprises’ to increase our economy, which in turn, will create more jobs. We have so many ideas to be done in terms of employment. I can use my training on economics,” Marcos said.

Bongbong Marcos made Ilocos Norte a first class province by providing jobs to his constituents, he want to do the same to all Filipino people.

People who believe in Bongbong Marcos’ ability to change and improve the labor agency are invited to sign. Click here to sign the petition.
