The Department of Tourism (DOT) sent an Invitation to Bid to its registered suppliers for reversible jackets to be given to the department’s birthday celebrants, with an approved amount of a whopping P1,294,500. This is according to the tourism department’s document, which was posted on its official website last month. According to the DOT-BAC-IB No. 2018-009 (pdf file), the purpose of the project is to procure customized reversible jackets to be given as special tokens to all DOT birthday celebrants for CY 2018.
