Roque said President Rodrigo Duterte ordered not to invite Robredo after 80% of Palace’s employees preferred not to invite her.

“Si president kasi kung ano ang kusto ng karamihan, yon ang sinusunod niya. This is not a decision by just himself or by just someone else. Pinagbobotohan poi to ng mga senior Palace official’s dahil sila ang host”, Roque told reporters on Thursday.

Since the Senators have their own Christmas party with the President, Roque added that none of the senators were also invited as the party is exclusive onto to Palace employees with their families.

Among the Cabinet members, only Roque, Andanar, PNP, AFP, and DND chiefs and secretaries are also invited.

Roque said that the Palace employees are still angry with the VP over her UN video, which caused outraged worldwide.

The Party will be held on Saturday inside the Malacañang palace and will only be attended by selected media people.
