Believe it or not, Eurasia Future Director Adam Garrie is going to legally change his name. Soon, his legal full name will be Adam Alexander Duterte Garrie. He made his bold announcement via his social media accounts on Friday, April 20, saying that he decided to change his name as sign of respect and loyalty to President Rodrigo Duterte.
“I have begun a legal process to officially change my full legal name to Adam Alexander Duterte Garrie. Will post evidence when it’s all done.” Garrie, wrote, and replied to a comment that he has just filled out the first part that day. He said he is currently in London, UK, and has been the Director of Eurasia Future since December 2017.
Eurasia Future focuses on the “new political alignments of the Middle East, Syria and Iraq’s war against Takfiri terrorism, China and the emergence of One Belt—One Road, the shifting dynamics in South Asian alliances, South East Asia’s political and economic revolution, the Palestinian campaign for justice, the decline of the US Dollar among others.”
Based on his profile at Eurasia Future’s website, Adam Garrie is “a geo-political expert, a global specialist with an emphasis on Eurasian integration, and can be frequently seen on Nedka Babliku’s weekly discussion show Digital Divides, RT’s flagship debate show CrossTalk, Press-TV’s flagship programme ‘The Debate’ and radio Sputnik.
“Garrie’s articles have been published in the Oriental Review, Asia Times, Geopolitica Russia, the Tasnim News Agency, Global Research, RT’s Op-Edge, Global Village Space and others.” Eurasia Future added. His latest articles talked about the continuous Great March of Return in Palestine, where protesters demanded their right to return home.
In his several articles about Philippine politics, Garrie supports President Duterte, and has been defending his actions, as well as his supporters. In his Facebook post last February, he wrote that “Duterte supporters are the most real, down to earth, people in the world.” In fact, he is now using President Duterte’s photo as his Facebook profile photo.
