Becoming a millionaire in the Philippines is not easy and requires a lot of dedication, profession, capital, and luck. But for some people, becoming a millionaire is simple and can be done in just few days up to a couple of years depending on the path one has to choose.
Unless one wins a lottery, becoming a millionaire is impossible for ordinary people unless one may try any of the following.
1. Become a Politician
Becoming a politician is the very first step for people who want to become millionaires. Everybody knows where the money is. Just ask the politicians who were involved in Janet Lim Napoles case. But becoming a politician requires a lot of influence, money, and sometimes power. What if you do not posses any of these? Well, your best bet is to follow those activists’ paths like Teddy Casino, Risa Hontiveros, Lisa Maza, Etta Rosales, Neri Colmenares, and the like. These people became activists not because of principles, but because of self satisfaction and political ambition. They do not have power and money at first, but the people they fooled believes in them. That’s how they became powerful politicians out of nothing.
2. Become a Police Officer
When Pres. Duterte took office, the PNP’s rotten activities are getting unmasked. The Philippine National Police (PNP) is one of the most corrupt agencies in the Philippines, and the worse is, it involved kidnapping, extortion, and even killing. Police uses their influence and power to victimized rich foreigners. If you want to become a millionaire, then be a police officer.
3. Start a Religion
Starting a religion only requires a bible and tons of guts. Religion is business and the best selling product is fear. Teach people to fear the biblical god and you have their money later on. Mike Velarde, Eddie Villanueva, Apollo Quiboloy, and now Eduardo V. Manalo are millionaires. Start a religion is you want to follow their path.
4. Start a Pyramid Network Marketing Business
Many people tried this but because they were not smart enough, they ended-up inside the jail. Yes, many Filipinos are easy to get fooled so the chance that many people will invest if you promise them to double their money within a certain period of time will make you a millionaire in due time.
5. Be a Drug Dealer
This is not recommended anymore, because the President has already started his war on drugs, but if you are brave enough, then go on. If you are smarter than jayvee Sebastian, or more versatile than Kerwin Espinosa, maybe you can pull it off.
See, it is very easy for bad people to become millionaires, but it is hard for good people. This is how stupid this world we are living is.
Another sad thing here is that, if corrupt officials found out that you are making a lot of money even in legal way (eg. your business is booming), they will find ways to get your money through extortion and other similar means. Extortion is the only reason why Joma Sison and his cohorts are still alive, and Duterte will not do anything about it. /Fanny Tumawa/
